Editorial Policy

Mission
To offer varied content of general interest, with a rigorous, clear, and useful approach for our audience in the Spanish-speaking world.

Guiding principles

  1. Independence – Editorial decisions are made without interference from advertisers or shareholders.
  2. Rigor and veracity – We compare the information with at least two reliable sources.
  3. Plurality – We accommodate different opinions and schools of thought within the boundaries of mutual respect.
  4. Corrections – If we detect errors, we publish an updated errata at the end of the article with the date and correction.
  5. Transparency – Sponsored content is labeled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.”
  6. Conflicts of interest – Authors must declare any relevant relationship to the topics covered.

Editorial process

  1. Selection of topics: social relevance, audience demand and informative value.
  2. Drafting: clear, inclusive and bias-free language.
  3. Revision: Double-check data, spelling, and SEO (H1 title, meta description, clean URL).
  4. Publication: compliance with Google News and Discover guidelines for original content and expertise.
  5. Update: Periodically review evergreen articles or when new information arises.
